Rudy’s Magical Day Starter
This is a recipe I got from Keith’s Cacao. It is an alternative to coffee. It is very energizing and doesn’t have the kind of crash caffeine typically does. The taste is something that you may have to get used to, but if you do a simple cacao appreciation ceremony and ritual before consuming, the taste is a lot easier to get over. This seems to cause the cacao to harmonize with the body on a deep level.
Ingredients
1 1/2 oz cacao
8 1/2 oz water
1 tsp Maya nut / Ramon
1/2 tbsp cinnamon
1 tsp carob powder
1 pinch of pink Himalayan salt, cayenne
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 tbsp coconut butter/manna
1 tsp sacred 7 mushroom blend
1 tbsp Sweet Jahmu Chai
Preparation
- Add all ingredients to Bullet Blender or Blender Bottle
- Add hot water. Either just before boiling or approx. 172 degrees. A hot water dispenser or anything under boiling will do.
- Seal and blend for approximately 30 seconds, stopping at 10 second intervals.
- Ever so slowly open the blender (caution, contents may be pressurized) and pour the contents into your favorite mug or ideally a thermal cup that will keep the contents warm.
- Feel free to sweeten if desired, but eventually you will get used to the taste as your body becomes familiar with the positive benefits associated with the drink.
